LSEG says it has commenced money markets trading on its FXall platform as it continues to evolve the platform’s multi-asset capabilities.
Loans and deposits are available to trade on an RFQ basis, across standard and broken-date tenors, and LSEG says the first trade “demonstrates renewed demand for electronic [trading]” in the products. The new service can be access directly with the FXall application in LSEG Workspace bringing together FX and deposit execution within a single user experience. The firm adds that trades are fully integrated into existing trade history, reporting and operational workflows, helping firms simplify execution and reduce operational complexity.
The solution also introduces enhanced reporting and monitoring capabilities for both clients and liquidity providers, LSEG adds, including updates to Treasury Center, Business Objects reports and operational dashboards to support money market trading activity. LSEG highlights the benefits to corporate clients, “many of whom have expressed the value of being able to manage FX and deposit activities through a unified workflow”.
LSEG adds the launch forms part of itss strategy to expand workflow solutions across FX, and the broader deposits and loans ecosystem.
“The successful execution of the first Deposits trade marks an important milestone in bringing together FX and deposits on a single platform,” says Audra Scharf, strategic lead, FX corporates, at LSEG. “By extending FXall’s proven RFQ capabilities into deposits and loans, we are enabling clients and liquidity providers to simplify execution, improve efficiency and access a more integrated trading experience.”
