Best Execution Award – JP Morgan 2026

While there is always going to be the incumbent advantage of familiarity with the platform and how it works, users continue to rave about the execution experience in the appropriately named Execute. The UI remains sharp and easy on the eye for those that want it, with a lot of information within that helps the trader, but is not intrusive.
The real experience nowadays, however, tends to be in a more automated environment, and here the delivery of analytics, trade ideas, the EFRP processes, all free up time or capital for traders. Naturally, algos are a key element of the best execution award and JPM has always been strong here, going back to the original days of Sliceberg (one for the teenagers and also an indication of how long we have been doing this!)
The analytics remain excellent and, to remind readers are available pre-, post and in-flight, the algo scheduler has also been enhanced over the past year.
Over the past year, JP Morgan has tapped into its number one strength – market position – to enhance its adaptive algos. These are now more nuanced to the client’s recent history, using the aforementioned analysis and replays of the previous six months’ executions.
It helps being the widely-recognised top player in the spot e-FX world, but being able to offer a more tailored service that takes into account client habits just reinforces that position.
