Following a strong September report for its main FX settlement service, CLS says that the average daily netted value in CLSNet increased by 3% in the third quarter of 2026 to $182 billion, its second highest quarter ever, behind Q1 2026.
Compared with the same quarter in 2025, growth is 3%, over the first three quarters of the year, CLSNet is on pace to grow more than 7% year-on-year. CLS says the strong Q3 performance was supported by a record daily netted value of $802 billion on 16 September 2026.
CLS also says it saw an increase in new participants across global and regional banks and asset managers in Q3, adding that the top 12 global banks are now committed to the service.
To help make the service more accessible, efficient, and scalable for a wider range of participants, CLSNet has introduced trade submission through a REST API. Participants can now submit trade instructions and receive outbound notifications and static data updates through the same API interface. This provides a more flexible connectivity option, simplifies end-to-end integration, and minimizes infrastructure requirements.
