As first reported in the Entries & Exits section of The Full FX weekly Round Up on 8 February, TraditionData has added to its sales team in Madrid and New York.
Steve Murphy, based in Madrid, and Bruce Messing, based in New York, have joined as senior business development managers. Murphy joins from Fenics where he was regional sales manager for the data team in Asia, based in Singapore. He has also worked for SmartStream and Thomson Reuters, and will join the TraditionData’s recently formed Madrid data team.
Messing joins from TP Icap, where he most recently held the position of regional sales manager. Formerly of Broadridge, Thomson Reuters, Danske Bank and Bloomberg, the firm says Messing brings vast experience to the TraditionData team which is currently challenging the norms in the market data space.
It adds that the two appointments demonstrate an ongoing dedication to investing in the growth of TraditionData, enabling it to expand its offering to clients. With Murphy and Messing on board, the firm will continue to develop innovative, high quality and flexible data products and deliver them to clients across the globe., it adds.
“Both bring a wealth of experience and expertise, and their appointments come at an exciting time for our business, as we continue to increase and improve our product base and provide our clients access to the data they need when they most need it,” says James Watson, global head of sales at TraditionData.
