Market infrastructure provider Symphony has launched Embedded Collaboration Platform (ECP), a solution that allows financial firms to embed their technology in other platforms in order to successfully complete their workflows without context switching or adding friction.

ECP enables firms to pull Symphony’s communication stack into other platforms allowing for a smoother and more efficient user experience, bridging silos across the industry. The new product was demonstrated on stage at the firm’s Innovate conference recently with partner SmartTrade.
Symphony CEO Brad Levy, presenting the new solution, highlighted the current volatility in the markets and Symphony’s ability to provide financial firms with the tools to adapt and expand, creating a secure environment for collaboration and communication, enabling and building integrated and interoperable workflows. He also flagged making customer preferred communication channels such as WhatsApp and WeChat compliant for institutional users. “In an increasingly complex and volatile world, where so much is in motion, Symphony helps you simplify and navigate through the fog in the middle, under and around,” he said.
Symphony also announced a Microsoft Teams integration that will allow users to start Teams video-calls from their Symphony chats. This integration is the latest in a compliant communications enterprise solutions offering that includes Zoom, Salesforce, WhatsApp, WeChat and SMS, the firm says.
