State Street Appoints European Global Markets Head

State Street Bank International has named Simona Stoytchkova as head of global markets, Europe – based in Frankfurt and subject to regulatory approval she will also join the bank’s board in Europe.
Stoytchkova joins from IG Deutschland, where she spent just under 18 months as CEO, prior to this, she was global head of e-trading sales and prime clearing at Baader Bank in Frankfurt. Prior to Baader Bank, Stoytchkova spent seven years at Societe Generale in London and Paris, most latterly as head of prime brokerage and clearing sales for the DACH region. She has also worked in markets roles at Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank.
