OpenFin Appoints Chief Digital Officer

Operating system technology provider OpenFin has named Vicky Sanders as its chief digital officer, a newly-created role.

In what the firm calls a “strategic decision”, Sanders is tasked with driving digital transformation across the company’s ecosystem. It follows last month’s $10 million investment in the firm by ING Ventures.

She joins from TP Icap, where she spent the past year as chief commercial officer for its agency execution business that was acquired with the purchase of Liquidnet. Sanders worked for 20 months at Liquidnet prior to the deal, as global head of investment analytics. She joined Liquidnet when that firm acquired RSRCHXchange, where she was co-counder and co-CEO for over five years.

“OpenFin has a strong history of building with the industry and for the industry,” says Adam Toms, chief operating officer at OpenFin. “This ranges from the creation of the FDC3 application interoperability standards to the launch of Workspace in 2021, which was designed and built in collaboration with several global banks and asset managers to solve their common workflow challenges. Today, Workspace accelerates standardisation and openness across the industry while solving desktop and employee productivity issues at an enterprise level.
