ING Ventures has invested a reported $10 million in financial services operating system (OS) provider OpenFin, joining Bain Capital Ventures, Barclays, CME Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, HSBC, JP Morgan, NYCA Partners, Pivot Investment Partners, SC Ventures and Wells Fargo Strategic Capital as shareholders in the firm which says its OS is now on desks at more than 2,400 banks and financial institutions in more than 60 countries.
ING adopted OpenFin in 2021 and the firm says the latest round of capital will be used to accelerate expansion of OpenFin OS “to every user within financial services”.
