NAB’s head of Markets Drew Bradford, has resigned from the bank with a view to exploring an enterprise in the web3 space.
NAB confirms that Bradford, who joined the bank in mid-2011 after a 24-year career with Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank, will leave on 28 April. In a communication to NAB staff, David Gall, NAB group executive of its Corporate & Institutional Banking division, says that Bradford was a valuable member of the C&IB leadership team, who continually delivered strong results through economic and global challenges and has always been focused on doing the best by his colleagues and the bank’s customers.
“Following a long and successful career in banking, Drew is keen to diversify and expand his career into the digital space and is pursuing a number of interesting projects externally,” Gall writes. “He’s looking forward to dedicating more of his time to web3 and we wish him all the best with these new endeavours.”
Following Bradford’s departure, John Bennett, general manager of NAB sales and research, will assume the role of acting head of Markets whilst the bank goes through a formal recruitment process.
