The Global FX Division (GFXD), a 25 bank member-based trade association, is holding a special event in New York on Wednesday 8 February, Next Step FX: The People, Products and Platforms Essential for the Future of FX.
The event seeks to promote FX as an industry and will include a keynote address by Michelle Neal, head of the Markets Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. There will be two additional panels with speakers from banks’ digital product, custody and FX trading/sales businesses, after which a reception will provide the opportunity for networking.
Speakers from Bank of New York Mellon Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and Royal Bank of Canada are already confirmed for the panels, which will look at themes including changes in the FX market structure, CBDCs, digital currencies and stablecoins, the likely skills needed to succeed in the FX industry of the future.
The event will take place at Deutsche Bank Center on Columbus Circle in New York and is free to attend. For details and to register, click here.
