The first client has gone live on Digitec’s D3 OMS, the firm’s order management system targeting the inter-dealer FX swaps market by automating traders’ workflows and enhancing venue connectivity.
The solution combines position management, risk management, OMS and EMS functionality to increase workflow automation and enable traders to connect and efficiently place orders in the interdealer FX swaps market.
At launch it was connected to 360T SUN and LSEG FX Forwards Matching, with more venues to be added, and the firm says the first unnamed client has executed on LSEG FX Forwards Matching.
“There is great demand for this service and we are delighted to have our first live client,” says Peer Joost, CEO of Digitec. “D3 OMS makes trading workflows more efficient and flexible, and we expect the result to be increased volumes on electronic interbank matching platforms. This in turn will drive increased market liquidity, greater participation, improved client pricing and risk management, and for the FX Swaps market to grow for the benefit of all parties.”
Stephan von Massenbach, chief revenue officer of Digitec, adds, “D3 OMS enhances current workflows and allows traders to accurately and efficiently manage interdealer FX swaps orders from a single screen. LSEG FX has been a great partner on this initiative, and we expect many more clients to go live over the next few months.”
