CME Group Adds Crypto Market Data Channel to Globex

Just days after adding new benchmarks for cryptocurrencies CME Group says it is supporting increased demand for crypto products with the launch of two dedicated market data channels on CME Globex.
The new channels will support data from Bitcoin and Ether futures, as well as from the micro contracts. Further, data from options on Bitcoin and Ether futures will be included, as will basis trade and index close (BTIC) pricing on the aforementioned contracts.
CME says the update will not impact data licensing and entitlement requirements. The new data channels were available from Sunday May 1. Earlier this month CME and CF Benchmarks added data for Algorand, Bitcoin Cash, Cardano, Chainlink, Cosmos, Litecoin, Polkadot, Polygon, Solana, Stellar Lumens and Uniswap, in addition to Bitcoin and Ether.
