Bloomberg Launches Stablecoin Dashboard

Bloomberg has launched a stablecoin dashboard on the Terminal powered by data from Allium, a blockchain data platform for enterprises, the new service gives market participants onchain stablecoin data alongside existing fixed income, FX and money market tools.
The firm observes that stablecoins now account for more than $300 billion in circulating supply and have become core infrastructure connecting digital asset markets to traditional finance, from settlement and cross-border payments to demand for short-dated US Treasuries.
It adds that until now, tracking that activity has meant working with a patchwork of blockchain explorers and analytics sites. To meet this, Bloomberg says the dashboard covers every stablecoin with more than $100 million in circulating supply — collectively more than 98% of the market — along with select smaller and non-US-dollar-pegged stablecoins.
The dashboard presents stablecoin data in the same format Terminal users apply to traditional market data. The default view compares covered stablecoins side by side on supply, mints, burns, transfer volume and velocity, with current data updated hourly and historical series updated daily. Users can drill into individual stablecoins to see activity across different blockchain networks, switch the view to analyse activity by network, or filter assets by peg type, including fiat currencies, commodities and other stablecoins.
The collaboration with Allium marks “a meaningful expansion” of Bloomberg’s onchain data capabilities, the firm continues, noting that it brings blockchain-native data into the Terminal and integrates it within the workflows institutional investors already use
“Stablecoins are becoming an increasingly important part of institutional digital asset markets, particularly as firms explore how cash and assets can move within tokenised financial infrastructure,” says Matthew Parkinson, global head of digital assets product at Bloomberg. “Our focus is on giving clients the same rigour, transparency and integration they expect from Bloomberg across traditional markets. Bringing comprehensive onchain data into the Terminal is an important part of that, and we expect to continue expanding the data and analytics available to clients as these markets continue to develop.”
