Darren Boulos, head of FX sales and trading for BNY Mellon in Asia Pacific, has announced he is stepping down from the role at the end of 2021.
Boulos joined the bank in December 2016 as it embarked on a growth programme, having previously spent over nine years with Deutsche Bank in Sydney, most latterly as head of fixed income and currencies. Prior to that he held senior roles at RBC in Sydney, Credit Suisse in London, Tokyo and Singapore, as well as Rabobank and HSBC.
Boulos’ departure continues a year of change in the BNY Mellon FX business which has seen the departure of its head of e-FX and spot FX trading, Jeff Leal, global head of e-FX sales, James Taylor, and APAC head of e-FX and spot trading Charl de Vleeschauwer.
