Woodward Leaves LSEG’s Refinitiv?

A senior figure is leaving LSEG’s Refinitiv, with sources saying that Jonathan Woodward, head of FX for Asia-Pacific, is leaving the firm.
His departure, the sources say, is part of a wider “reduction in force” at the firm as it prepares to transition fully to LSEG FX. In recent months, Karen Phillips has left after 21 years at the firm, most latterly as head of transaction sales and relationship management in New York; and Gary Latner left in Sydney after 22 years in relationship management, largely for Matching.
Woodward joined then Thomson Reuters in late 2008 as head of Australia and New Zealand, before moving up to Singapore to head Asia-Pacific transaction sales at the firm. Prior to joining he also spent over six years working for State Street’s Global Link in London.
The sources say Woodward is actively seeking another role in the industry – LSEG has been approached for information in terms of a replacement and has thus far declined to respond.
