Wells Fargo Adds in e-FX Sales?

The Full FX understands that Matthew Acard is joining Wells Fargo in New York in a senior e-commerce sales role.
He is joining from Bloomberg, where he was worked for seven years, most latterly as buy side e-FX trading sales and account management having joined the firm in sell side FX and fixed income electronic trading sales.
Prior to Bloomberg, Acard worked for almost 10 years at HSBC in New York in the FX e-commerce sales team – he started his career at AIG as an analyst for two years before transitioning to Citi as an e-commerce analyst for one year prior to the HSBC move.
At Wells Fargo it is understood he will report to Rob Gomprecht, MD and head of macro electronic execution sales, who joined the bank in May 2021.
