United Fintech Names Three Partners, Establishes Leadership Team

United Fintech has appointed three new partners and established a senior leadership team, putting in place what the firm says is a long-term partnership model as the company enters its next chapter.
The company has named Guy Hopkins, Rasmus Bagger, and Darren Coote as new partners, they join Tom Robinson, Marc Levin, and founder and CEO Christian Frahm, bringing the partnership to six. United Fintech says each partner has played a significant role in building the firm’s “first chapter”, around its current ecosystem of products, customers, and strategic relationships.
Hopkins came to the firm as part its acquisition of FairXchange at the end of 2021, and was founder of the FX analytics. Bagger helped build the firm’s commercial and sales infrastructure, while Coote co-founded infrastructure network and dynamic credit technology provider Cobalt, which was also acquired by United Fintech at the end of 2022.
While Frahm remains CEO of the firm, other day-to-day responsibilities see Bagger named chief commercial officer; Levin as COO; and Hopkins as chief product officer.
“Together, we proved that financial institutions are willing to build and share technology through a neutral platform,” says Frahm. “This partnership recognises the people who built this with me and gives them the opportunity to help build what comes next. Infrastructure is a long-term business. The people who build it should have the opportunity to own it for the long term. We built United Fintech 1.0 together. Now we are building the infrastructure layer for the future of wholesale finance.”
