Following the ninth annual J.P. Morgan e-Trading Edit, which this year surveyed over 4.200 traders globally, Scott Wacker, global head of e-commerce FICC, sales and marketing at J.P. Morgan, joins Colin Lambert to mull over some of the key findings from the survey.
Unsurprisingly perhaps, volatility and market access were high concerns for traders, prompting Lambert to ask Wacker how a major liquidity provider deals with such an environment. He discusses the benefits of various connectivity channels, and how different solutions work for different client segments.
In a wide-ranging discussion, the two also look at regional variations in the survey; the challenge of information leakage; as well as what appears to be a high satisfaction rating among dealers for analytics, especially on single-dealer platforms, before the conversation closes out by looking at growth opportunities in e-trading.
