The Full FX is returning to Copenhagen for our first event of 2026 on Thursday April 23rd. Click here to register.
2025 delivered multiple challenges for the industry in terms of both technological innovation, market structure change and volatility – and 2026 looks like it will continue on the same path. The Full FX is returning to Copenhagen at the Radisson Blu Hotel on April 23rd to discuss all of these trends and more.
What are the disrupters likely to be in 2026 and what areas of the industry are most likely to face challenges?
How is technology evolving across the trade lifecycle and changing the market structure?
Most pertinently, how will all of these issues play out in Scandinavian markets?
Join us for a packed day of thought-provoking discussion, featuring panels, interviews (and of course, The Chat Show – For FX’s Sake), as well as to meet with your peers and clients.
This event is free to banks, asset managers, hedge funds and corporates ONLY. Please note that if you do not meet these criteria you will be asked for payment.
The fee for non-sponsoring service provider companies is GBP1675 per delegate. This is inclusive of 25% Danish sales tax.

AGENDA
9:30 Panel One – E-FX in a More Volatile Macro Environment
Words such as “chaotic” and “erratic” have been used to describe US trade and economic policy, and at the same time conflicts continue around the world and Asia seemingly continues to rise.
What impact are these events having on e-FX teams, and their ability to service clients. What are the challenges and opportunities in markets? Also, are conditions any different to previous volatility and event spikes?

10:00 Panel Two – Onchain FX, stablecoins and 24/7 trading
Stablecoins are overtaking VISA and Mastercard in volumes when it comes to payments and they’re playing a growing role in the world of FX in the shape of “stablecoin sandwich” transactions. What do these trends mean for the currencies industry and who is leading the charge?

For the best part of two decades the world has been breathlessly talking about a “multi-asset class trading future”, but, in the OTC at least, it has remained largely elusive. What have been the tech hurdles to achieving this ambition and what is happening now to overcome it? Is the definition of multi-asset class changing (FX and crypto perhaps, rather than FICC?)

What role will FX play in a world of tokenized assets and collateral and how will existing infrastructure cope with the technology upgrade that’s taking place in broader financial markets? Are banks and infrastructure providers ready for the shift and how will stablecoins, smart contracts and currency trading mesh together in the next five years?

What’s the platform landscape like and is there disruption on the horizon or more of the same? They do say not to fix what’s not broken, but who is the current set-up serving and how come despite a proliferation of venues there has been no fee compression in the industry?
