Sucden Financial has hired four FX salespeople from StoneX, formerly INTL FC Stone, including Mike Wilkins as global head of FX sales.
It marks a return to Sucden for Wilkins, who left the firm in 2011 – he worked at StoneX and its predecessor for eight years in the interim. Wilkins also spent four years at ODL Securities and eight years at Bank of Nova Scotia, both in FX trading roles.
Also joining Sucden are Toby Warner, Ian Steadman and Steven Robinson in FX sales roles – all of whom worked at StoneX. Warner spent two years at StoneX having joined after a 23 year career at Citi, mostly in FX bank sales. He also worked as an FX trader at American Express Bank and Credit Lyonnais. Steadman had been at StoneX and its predecessor for more than nine years, having joined from Lloyds Bank in London where he was an FX sales manager for six years. Prior to that he held FX sales roles at Moscow Narodny Bank and Refco Overseas – he started in the market in 1987 as a trader at Credit Lyonnais Rouse. Robinson joined StoneX’ predecessor in 2015 and has worked in the FX business since then.
“I am delighted to welcome Mike and the team, as we strengthen our salesforce, continue enhancing our FX services and develop our global client base,” says Wayne Roworth, global head of FX at Sucden.
