State Street Showcases Research Platform Enhancements

One year on from its launch, State Street says its Insights research platform will begin to roll-out a range of new tools and functionally in 2022 and into 2023. The platform currently offers proprietary research, exclusive data-driven indicators and the latest market commentary from the firm’s team of global macro strategists.
“We’ve been incredibly pleased how clients have responded to and engaged with our research and our internal strategists since we first unveiled the Insights platform last year,” says Anthony Bisegna, executive vice president and head of State Street Global Markets. “We understand that clients continue to be inundated with data and research every day, so our goal continues to be focused on making sure we are not just delivering content to our clients, but ensuring we are providing them perspectives they cannot get anywhere else.”
The new functionality will include what State Street terms a “deeper, highly interactive Web portal”. This will host live webinars with renowned academics and introduce tools to allow clients to further overlay indicators on multi-asset portfolio strategies and test against market performance in real-time.
The firm will also create AI-powered recommendations. It says in addition to providing users with personalised suggestions based on the content they search for and engage with, in the coming months new AI and machine learning powered technology will be incorporated into the current system. These new tools will ensure that the most interesting trends are flagged across ever broader market segments for State Street clients in a timely fashion, the firm says.
The third key enhancement is a mobile version of Insights that State Street says will make it even easier and more convenient for clients to access and engage with its offerings.
“The Insights platform was built largely around our client’s feedback, and we are excited to further enhance the platform and continue to deliver to our clients unique ideas for their portfolio construction, risk management and investment strategies,” says Will Kinlaw, head of research at State Street Global Markets.
