State Street has announced the first third-party integration to its “smart desktop” platform Link, which enables users to create customisable trading and workflow solutions.
EMAlpha is making its multilingual AI-powered information flow scanning and summarisation tool available to Link users for access to currency-related insights. The tool provides targeted risk reports and outputs aggregated from materials received from sources to mutual clients of EMAlpha, and now Link.
State Street says that almost 50% of information available on the web is in languages other than English, and EMAlpha’s tool provides the ability to track information in nearly every language worldwide, thus allowing users to make informed decisions with greater precision – especially when markets are volatile.
“Leveraging EMAlpha will help our clients make more informed decisions allowing us to provide the most optimal services to our clients,” says Michael O’Malley, head of Link at State Street.
Sash Sarangi, founder and CEO of EMAlpha, adds, “Our multilingual AI model will allow Link users to access real-time information, providing a deeper understanding of market sentiment from many different language sources, optimising the way traders strategise and help them make better decisions.”
