SmartTrade Adds Three

SmartTrade Technologies has named three senior executives to its business with the hires of Carine Denis, Renaud Kerspern and Elise van der Schans.
Denis has been named global head of business operations and joins from Finastra, where she was director of business operations for the COO. She has also worked in product roles at Societe Generale and HSBC. Her role at SmartTrade will include building a strategy to deliver transformation projects, the firm says, she will also be responsible for customer success strategies and experience.
Kerspern has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO). He joins from private equity group Forterro, where he was regional CFO for just under three years. Prior to that he was CFO at Itiviti’s Ullink for four years and CFO of LCH SA for over eight years. He also worked in a senior financial control role at SunGard.
Tasked with overseeing SmartTrade’s talent recruitment, van der Schans has been named chief human resources officer. She joins from Trace One, a software company, where she was vice president of HR and MIS. Prior to this she also worked at SunGard in HR.
