SBI Digital Markets Makes Senior Appointments

SBI Digital Markets has made three senior hires to its business function, just weeks after naming five new staffers in sales and business development. 
Teo Chee Keong has been named head of professional technology services in Singapore, he joined from the Monetary Authority of Singapore where he worked for just under a year as a solutions architect, having joined from Cyberdene Tech Exchange in Sinapore.
Michael Chan is SBI Digital’s new chief compliance officer, he joins from a brief spell at Temasek, having joined the investment fund from a six year role at Norges Bank in compliance and control. Chan has also worked in compliance for Pareto, DBS and OCBC in Singapore.
Finally, Danny Surtani has joined as chief financial officer. He moves from Deutsche Bank where he worked for over 20 years, most latterly as chief financial officer of the investment bank in Asia-Pacific.
All three will report to SBI Digital’s CEO, Winston Quek.
