Pearson New Head of ForexClear

James Pearson has been named as head of LCH’s ForexClear effective 1 June, he will be based in London and report to Isabelle Girolami, CEO of LCH.
Pearson’s previous roles include spells as global head of FX trading at RBS, a role he left in 2016, as well as global head of G10 FX spot trading & EMEA head of emerging markets FX at Nomura and Lehman Brothers. He has also worked in spot and NDF trading positions at Citi and HSBC.
“[Pearson] brings extensive experience of trading FX and leading global teams, says Girolami. “He will be instrumental in driving continued growth and innovation at ForexClear, with a focus on expanding the deliverable FX and client clearing franchises. I look forward to working with him to deliver more innovations and efficiencies to our customers and the wider market.”

Paddy Boyle, who has been head of ForexClear during a sustained period of growth, stepped down from the role in February after more than four years.
