Nomura Names Jayanti to Head Client Management

Anu Jayanti has been appointed managing director and global head of client account management at Nomura.
Based in New York, in what is a newly created role, Jayanti will report globally to Steve Ashley, head of wholesale division, and locally to Chris Willcox, co-CEO, Nomura Holding America. She will also join Nomura’s Wholesale Executive Committee and will chair a newly established Wholesale Client Committee.
Jayanti joins from Citi, where she worked for 20 years in institutional sales and relationship management. Most recently, she was global head of investor relationship management, managing the bank’s largest and most complex client relationships.
