Former Par FX and Trad-X CEO Dan Marcus has been named a strategic advisor at data analytics fintech Propellant.digital.
Propellant offers a software solution that combines public and private data to empower analytics, providing business insights. It is an open, cloud-native, turnkey analytics solution built on stringent security certified services – the company was founded in 2021 by Vincent Grandjean and Allan Horgan. The firm says it mission is to take financial markets information and make it “transparent, accessible, affordable and useful to all parties in the ecosystem”.
As well as running Par FX and Trad-X for inter-dealer broker Tradition, which owns both platforms, Marcus was also head of Tradition’s EMEA business. At Propellant he is tasked with supporting the founder in building the business further.
“2022 is a key year for Propellant after launching last year, and Dan’s deep experience of financial markets, regulation and IT frameworks, will be a fantastic addition,” says Grandjean. “We are in discussions with various clients, universities and regulators for the proof of value of our product and are excited for the future.”
