Hooker Up the Ladder as Von Massenbach Departs Digitec

Darryl Hooker has been promoted to chief sales officer at Digitec, at the same time, chief revenue officer, Stephan von Massenbach, has left the firm.
Hooker joined Digitec in April 2025 as head of business development and partnership, having previously worked at Fenics and 360T in senior NDF sales roles. He also spent 18 years at EBS, where he was last global head of spot and precious metals, having previously worked at Reuters and multiple voice broking roles globally.
Von Massenbach, who is exploring other opportunities in the industry, had been with Digitec for more than five years. A spokesperson for Digitec confirmed he has left the firm, adding, “We would like to thank him for delivering significant business growth over the last five years and wish him all the best for the future.”
For his part, von Massenbach says, “After five incredible years, I am moving on to a new chapter. My time at Digitec has been some of the most rewarding of my career. Watching the business grow – and playing a part in that journey – has been a real privilege. I wish everyone at the firm continued success for the future.”
On Hooker, Peer Joost, CEO of Digitec, says, “Darryl’s business development skills, industry knowledge and extensive network of senior relationships have helped Digitec to achieve significant growth over the last year. In his new role as chief sales officer Darryl will define our global sales strategy and ensure we deliver against our sales targets.”
