Hooker Joins Digitec

FX swaps and NDF pricing technology provider Digitec has unveiled Industry veteran Darryl Hooker as head of business development and partnerships.
Hooker was most recently, director of NDF sales at Fenics FX, but left as part of the firm cutting a large part of its FX NDF sales team, prior to that he was head of NDF strategy at 360T. Hooker, who started in FX in voice broking, spent more than 18 years at EBS, including roles as global head of spot FX and precious metals. At EBS, he played a pivotal role in building the firm’s CNH business.
Hooker was also a private sector member of the first Global Foreign Exchange Committee after it was formed in 2017, has sat on several local FX committees, and was chair of the International Ruble Settlement Forum, an initiative aimed at the adoption of a real-time gross settlement system for the Russian currency some 20-plus years ago.
