InTouch Capital Markets has named Andres Grosso as a senior analyst for its InTouch FX service. He will work alongside Todd Elmer to cover the US market session and continue to expand the company’s Americas franchise as part of the global team providing 24-hour coverage to the firm’s clients.
Prior to joining InTouch, Grosso spent 25 years at Citigroup, most recently as managing director and global head of FX spot trading, and prior to that head of North America STIR trading.
Elmer, who joined the firm in 2019 and is also a Citi alumni, has moved within InTouch to become Americas head of FX, based in US, after helping to launch the company’s APAC business over the last two years as Asia head of FX & macro analysis, based out of Singapore.
“We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the team, his depth of experience and knowledge will further enhance our InTouch FX service and provide tremendous value-add for our clients,” says Michael Colman, chief operating officer of InTouch Capital Markets. “Our key strength is the quality of our team, which is truly first class, and the addition of Andrew to work with Todd will take us to another level, providing both a trader’s and strategist’s perspective to our Americas coverage.
“We are relentlessly focused on providing the highest quality services for our clients and the addition of Andrew to the team is another big step on this path,” he continues. “We believe that, while the quantity of information available to market participants has risen exponentially, it has become increasingly hard to obtain quality insights into what is really driving the market, making what we do more important than ever. An increasing number of clients are relying on us to help fill that knowledge gap and we are excited to push forward into the next phase in the company’s development and growth.”
