Following the announcement it was buying the firms, investment firm Francisco Partners is to combine TradingScreen with Imagine Software. Francisco says it has closed its buyout of Trading Screen and expects the same with its acquisition of Imagine Software soon.
The combined company will be named TS Imagine, and will provide end-to-end trading and portfolio management software platform for connecting the investment management industry with a network of brokers, banks and exchanges.
Rob Flatley has been hired to be CEO of the newly combined business – he joins from CoreOne Technologies, where he was CEO, having founded the firm in 2010. Before that he had roles at Deutsche Bank and Bank of America Securities.
“The industry continues to face new challenges and opportunities including the need for effective trade lifecycle management combined with real time risk analytics,” says Flatley.
Justin Chen, principal at Francisco Partners, adds, “TS Imagine…is uniquely positioned to address complex and time-consuming workflows in the front, middle and back offices, unifying order management, trade execution, portfolio analytics, real time risk compliance, accounting, and operations. Our investment will support the company’s continued product innovation, customer focus, and strong growth.”
