LSEG’s LCH ForexClear has hit 100 clients onboarded to the service (this is distinct from the number of participants, which is closer to 150) with the addition of two new firms in October, according to the latest update from the firm.
ForexClear also provides one of its occasional volume updates, indicating it is also witnessing continued steady growth in both FX options and NDF clearing volumes, albeit both fell back from September’s peaks.
Although average daily volume in FX options drifted lower from September (which was the service’s second busiest month to date), at $30 billion per day, it is still up 57% from October 2024 and above the year-to-date average of just over $29 billion. It is also more than double the volume recorded in October 2023.
NDF activity was also higher on ForexClear, the biggest FX product on the clearinghouse seeing $152 billion per day in October 2025, again a drop from September, but up 20% year-on-year and up some 50% from October 2023.
Overall FX volume cleared on ForexClear was $186 billion in October, LSEG says, up 25% on October 2024.
