Firm Claims Lowest London-Singapore Crypto Latency

Connectivity firm McKay Brothers has launched a new transport service between London and Singapore for crypto and FX traders that the firm says cuts latency between the two centres to 137 milliseconds round-trip.
Although the firm is keen to stress the FX aspect of the connectivity, it highlights that the path, from LD4 to Singapore where it connects directly to the AWS cloud, hosts crypto platforms from Deribit, LMAX, Kraken and Bybit. It adds that the network is “purpose-built for asset classes where risk management increasingly depends on microseconds”.
McKay says its “level playing field policy” ensures that all subscribers can purchase the best latency, adding the London-Singapore transport service is optimised for the requirements of cloud-based digital asset trading.
Previously latency times on the journey were between 145 and 180 milliseconds, according to industry sources.
