Craig to Exit Refinitiv

David Craig, CEO of Refinitiv and group head of data and analytics, is to leave the firm at the end of the year.
LSEG, which bought Refinitiv earlier this year has appointed Andrea Remyn Stone to be group head of data and analytics – currently she is chief product officer for data and analytics. LSEG says the two will work on a handover, before Craig switches to an advisor role for the rest of the year.
Remyn Stone joined Refinitiv in 2019, from her role as chief strategy officer at Ion, prior to which she held the same role at Dealogic for almost four years, before Ion recapitalised the firm. Prior to Dealogic she worked for more than five years at Bloomberg as global head of strategy and corporate development. She also has held roles at Standard & Poors and the McGraw-Hill Companies.
“From the original separation out of Thomson Reuters to completing the sale of Refinitiv earlier this year, I am enormously proud of everything we have achieved and the potential for the business as part of LSEG,” says Craig. “Now, with the integration firmly on track and a strong performance in our first quarter as a combined business, I will support Andrea with the leadership transition we have been preparing for.”
David Schwimmer, CEO of LSEG, adds, ““With credit to David, he took a long term view when he first recruited Andrea. Her appointment reflects the leadership bench strength in place across LSEG and our emphasis on developing strong talent.”
