CLS Names Five Additional Directors

CLS has appointed five new members to its board of directors, following its annual general meeting in early June.
Teddy Cho, CIO for the Markets business at BNY Mellon, along with Scott Lucas, head of markets DLT at JP Morgan; Akila Raman, chief commercial and strategy officer for transaction banking at Goldman Sachs; and Peter Whitelaw, EGM, resilience risk at National Australia Bank are joining. Michael Lawrence a former MD at Citi in the transaction and processing risk unit, has also been named as an independent/outside director.
The CLS board now has 21 directors in total, eight of whom are designated outside or independent.
“[Our new directors’] extensive market infrastructure knowledge, combined with their leadership experience and expertise in digital innovation, technology and risk will be invaluable,” says Gottfried Leibbrandt, chair of the CLS board. “We look forward to their contributions as we continue to develop CLS’s services to address the evolution of the FX market.”
