Best FX Prime Brokerage – NatWest Markets 2026

This is another repeat winner and as we noted last year, NatWest has emerged from the pack over the past decade to establish a leadership position in FXPB, thanks to its ability to support a broad church of client types.
While the analytics and UI remain great, the real core of this award remains NatWest’s human touch – its global client service teams were highlighted by several users we spoke to. The graphics have been improved over the past few years to provide a better top level view of KPIs, but the more granular data is still available for those that need it – as many businesses do. The cash-flow projections and settlement ladders remain popular, with the same ability to drill down, and over the past year the bank has added support for Metals, in spot, forwards and options, and has broadened its offering to make it more attractive to real money clients.
The bank has also helped clients reduce costs by an internalisation programme that aggregates the risk, and looking ahead it is looking closely at the benefits of tokenisation. All-in-all, NatWest looks eager to maintain its leadership position in FXPB and the innovative mindset permeating the business, overlaid with that human factor, means it is hard to bet against them remaining so.
