ACI – The Financial Markets Association has named a new chair and vice chair of its Regulatory Working Group (RWG).
Anne-Maria Rothenstein has been named chair, after holding the role on an interim basis, previously she was vice-chair of the group. Rothenstein has held several consulting roles in custody and banking in recent years, after a banking career spent mostly in derivatives trading.
John Ho has been named vice-chair of the RWG, currently he is head of legal in the Markets division of Standard Chartered Bank, a role he has held for over 15 years. He has been a member of the RWG since the start of 2022 and is also co-chair of the ISDA South East Asia Legal and Regulatory Committee and the ISDA Asia Pacific ESG working group.
“John Ho’s experience brings a lot to the table and I’m sure that his contributions, and a more profound involvement with the Regulatory Working Group, will provide deeper insight on the important topics that are discussed and how that may impact the Financial Markets community,” says Rothenstein.
