Wolf New CFO at AFX

Former Euronext FX chief Kevin Wolf has joined interbank borrowing and lending platform American Financial Exchange (AFX) in Chicago as chief financial officer.
Wolf has been consulting since he left the role of CEO of Euronext FX in August 2022, he ran the FX platform for almost four years alongside the role of head of FICC for Euronext in the US. Prior to that he was chief business and product development officer at Eris Exchange for almost six years, having joined the fledgling exchange from Bank of America, where he worked for four years in global Rates and FX origination.
AFX says it is experiencing record transaction volumes, it does not disclose actual amounts, and sees the appointment of Wolf as an opportunity to capitalise on the momentum. “[Kevin’s] exceptional track record speaks volumes about his ability to help transform businesses,” says John Shay, CEO of AFX. “We look forward to his contributions as we strive to provide our clients with an easy and safe way to source liquidity at market rates.”
Wolf adds, “I’m excited about this opportunity to help AFX transform how regional banks approach borrowing and lending and in turn manage their risk and profitability.”
