The Full FX understands that Deutsche Boerse’s 360T has hired FX industry veteran Darryl Hooker to manage its NDF product.
Hooker has been consulting to the FX industry since leaving what was NEX Group in 2018, and is seen as a key hire for 360T given his strong background in emerging markets with EBS, where he helped to establish the firm’s highly successful NDF business. Hooker, who spent over 18 years with EBS/Icap/Nex Group, having joined the firm from three years at Reuters, started his career in voice broking. He was also chair of the International Ruble Settlement Forum for over 11 years.
With Hooker taking the reins of the NDF business, 360T now has senior market figures in charge of its three main FX product suites with former Citi and LCH FX head Gavin Wells running the FX swaps franchise and Tobor Gergely, formerly head of FX e-trading at Unicredit, responsible for the spot business.
